Remanufactured GPS Unit – Worth The Discount?

 If you’re looking for your first GPS navigation device or wanting to upgrade a different make or model, a remanufactured GPS unit, also called a refurbished GPS unit, may be just the thing for you.

Like a lot of consumer electronic equipment, the price, features and quality of GPS devices can cover a wide range. Prices for some basic models can start under $100 and climb quickly to over $1,000 depending on exactly what you’re looking for. Refurbished GPS devices should have the latest map and software updates installed as well as quality checks to make sure that all functions are working as they should.

A remanufactured GPS unit should also offer a one year manufacturers warranty. If the seller is unwilling or unable to provide this level of protection, I would move on and find a seller that could.

Used GPS devices are available from most major manufacturers including Garmin, Magellan, TomTom, Lowrance and many others.  You will want to look for the following important details before making a final decision:

* Manufacturers warranty
* Updated software and maps
* Significant price reduction compared to new model
* Reputable dealer with good history and customer feedback

You can have the GPS system you want at a fraction of the cost by purchasing a name brand, reconditioned GPS unit.   Click Here to get the best price on brand name, factory refurbished GPS devices from Garmin, Magellan, TomTom and others.

GPS Helps Drivers Avoid Costly Traffic Tickets

Cities all across the country are turning to automated traffic enforcement innovations. There are a couple of reasons for this. First is the desire to increase public safety. With the number of cars on the road increasing many times faster than roads can be  built, traffic collisions seem to always be rising in frequency. Secondly, many municipalities count on increased revenues from those caught by red light cameras and speed camera locations. It is rumored that red light camera locations were so effective in a major Texas city that revenues didn’t meet projections, thus the program was greatly scaled back.

New GPS technology is now available that enables drivers to know where these speed camera and red light camera locations are located. This will enable them to take appropriate action allowing serious traffic collisions and costly traffic tickets. Now you can spot speed cameras and red light cameras before they spot you.

Your GPS Can Save You Money! Add Our Red Light Camera & SpeedTrap Database and Prevent Costly Tickets. Only $9.99! As Seen On T.V.

If you have a Garmin, TomTom or Magellan GPS navigation system,  you can download known speed trap locations from across the United States. If you don’t currentyly have a GPS system, you can invest in a small device that comes pre loaded with over 20,000 and counting red light camera, speed camera and speed trap points of interest. If you avoid only a single traffic ticket, you have almost paid for the device itself. And if you live in an area with lots of automated traffic enforcement devices, this technology is a must have.

New points of interest are being added all the time so you can always stay up to date with the latest speed enforcement locations, wherever you may be traveling. Check out this life saving and money saving new technology for yourself or the traveler in the family. You’ll be glad you did.
